Since Checkthisup.com was launched in January 2009, our main goal was to be different from the other forums. We wanted to offer our members the opportunity to share their knowledge with people from all over the world in as many topics as possible.
I admit that it was hard, and still is to divide the Forums to so many sub-Forums then make sure the members get the idea behind the sub-forums so they will be able to post in the right category.
At first we had to spend countless hours moving posts, merging threads, and making sure the posts were useful.
Thank to many people’s advices, comments, complains, praises, and compliments we were able to move forward and quick.
Our forums has been attracting hundred of new members every month, we went from one to two new members a week to over 15 members a day and growing.
At CTU we believe in treating people right with dignity and respect, our members are the real corps of our community, thanks to them we are still going. At many occasions we have had some celebrity members that stopped by our forums and made few posts, It took us a long time to convince many of them, but over all it was worth the time and effort.
At CTU we try to offer our members and visitors an opportunity to express themselves differently from other forums. We do not have too many restrictions, we treat all members the same no matter where they come from. Either you are a novice or an expert your presence at our forums is appreciated.
No matter what kind of question you ask, we still believe that you have what it takes to help us move forward. We believe in the power of conversation and we thank everyone for being their for our Online Community
